Best TV Shows?

These are some good TV shows although I am ot sure about Father Ted being there or Spaced being quite so high. I never understood Buffy but love the Wire and The West Wing. Family Guy ahead of Battlestar is kinda weak however. The Twilight Zone and Monty Python as well as Scrubs, Wonder Years, King of the Hill should really be here but to each their own. NVM I see Monty Python.

Anyways if you need some good tv check these out. If you like Shaun of the Dead Spaced is by the same people.

Boston Red Sox in Tokyo

The Red Sox played their first game of the year in Tokyo this morning. I rather enjoyed the 6AM pre game special. It was a nice pre work activity. The local Portland bars were open early and seemed full. That is either cool, funny or perhaps a bit sad. Baseball is huge in Japan, Korea and perhaps someday China. The World Series is coming closer to living up to it's name every year. I like the touches Japan has made to baseball. Oddly it is almost exactly the same game as it is here in the States. Technically Japan has had baseball almost as long as we have. I believe they started playing in the 1870's back when they were hiring U.S. engineers and military to modernize Japan.

Anyways the game was good. Street blew a save, Manny was being Manny with his 4 RBI's and the Sox looked like they did last year. Veritek is showing some age however.

Emilitsa in Portland Maine

Emilitsa is not cheap. You'll pay betweein 22-29 per meal. That being said Emilitsa is quickly becoming one of the better places to eat in Portland. It is located at 547 Congress street.

The food is amazing.

I had a terrific meal consisting of Lamb with some pasta. The lamb with the feta cheese was sold out. The portions are good which is important. The place looks beautiful and the waitresses were very nice. There was a limited beer selection beginning at 5 dollars. That was too bad but understandable. The apps were 10-11 dollars and desserts were 7 dollars. The three of us that went were amazed. There are a few vegie dishes as well.
I'll link a few reviews. This is at the very least the best Greek in Portland.

This could become a favorite spot with the recent demise of Walter's. They will have to have good coffee however. With the higher than normal prices this may be more of a once a month kind of place.
