Back

I'm back or almost back. I have a very long layover in Detroit before I am officially home. I then go right to work. It's funny as there were other people from Portland who were also travelling home today from Bangkok. It's a 32 hour day. I wisely decided to go to work right after. There is nothing like absolute exhaustion to get you in the mood for a full day of work.

Anyways the trip was fun. Beijing was a blast as was Cambodia. Thailand was fun as usual but I let myself get very sick in Thailand. I was out for awhile. Everyone says eating from street venders is ok. That is the only thing I can think of that made me sick. Silly me for trying something new.

Out of the three places I think Cambodia would be the place I would recommend the most to others. It is very cheap and has many temples to explore. I liked my hotel in Siem Reap as well.

I'm currently in Thailand and will come back on the 12th late. I hear Maine got a foot of snow for starters and maybe more coming. That must be rough. Have fun shoveling. I'm going swimming and then going to spend the day reading on the beach.
