This film is pure retarded bliss. Casting Keanu Reeves as a surfing detective… well, it’s mad genius of the obvious sort. That said – Patrick Swayze owns this movie. He’s a god. He’s one of the absolute coolest bad guys of all time.

I agree. I always loved this film. It has an energy that Reeves eventually matched with Speed. I know Keanu Reeves is not a great actor but he is great at picking good roles.
